Teacher Chairine Alon gave the introductory remarks, which were hosted by Teacher Alvin. The Drum and Lyre displayed extraordinary skill and commitment, the crowd was genuinely impressed by the synchronization, dynamic performance, and intriguing song.
Traditional Attire and Showcasing Talent
The chance for students to dress in traditional Filipino garb at Buwan ng Wika at Holy Family Academy of G.M.A. Cavite is one of the most thrilling features. Students wearing barong Tagalog, Filipiniana gowns, and other traditional attire that showed the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines filled the school with energy.
Dance, Music, and Delightful Delicacies
Carinosa, karakol, tinikling, and pandanggo sa ilaw were just a few of the intriguing traditional Filipino dances that were performed during the event. Despite the poor weather, these dances enthralled the audience with their elegant gestures and rhythmic beats.
Each classroom was converted into a booth, where students greeted the judge and showcased the cuisines they had created. The classroom presentation by Buwan ng Wika Food Delicacies was a delicious tour of Philippine cuisine. Students and teachers alike participated in the diversity of meals, including desserts, side dishes, main courses, appetizers, and other notable cuisine specialties that relish the flavors of the Philippines. Everyone enjoyed the delectable and instructive experience because it was clear that effort had gone into preparation and presentation.
